Dan Gordon is completed his fourth season as a volunteer assistant coach with the Endicott men's ice hockey program in 2018-19.

Gordon came to Endicott from the Boston Junior Bruins junior hockey program. Over those two seasons, Gordon helped guide the Bruins to victory in the league championship and the USA Hockey Tier III National Championship at the Premier Level in 2013-14 as an assistant. In 2014-15, Gordon also helped the Elite Level team win their league title and the National Championship as co-head coach of the Elite Level squad.

Gordon played one season professionally in France for Evry Peaux-Rouges where he was the team leader in points and second in the league in points per game. Prior to playing in France, Gordon played two seasons at the University of Southern Maine (USM) where he was a finalist for the Joe Concannon Award for the best American-born player in the NCAA Division II/III ranks. He compiled 64 points over his two seasons with USM, which was highlighted by his senior season when he ranked as the regular-season leading scorer for the ECAC East/NESCAC. In his junior year for the Huskies, Gordon helped lead the team to No. 7 national ranking, the highest in team history.  

Gordon also played two seasons in the Hockey East at UMass Amherst. The Lynnfied, Mass. native graduated high school from The Pingree School in South Hamilton, Mass. Gordon was named captain of the team during his senior year as well as being named a first-team Division II Prep School All-Star with 92 points. Gordon finished his four-year high school career with 225 points.

Gordon earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern Maine in 2009. Upon graduation, he became an assistant at his alma mater for one year. His role that year included video analysis, on-ice skill development, and practice and game preparation. Gordon also coached semi-professional hockey for one season and also guided the Boch Blazers junior team in 2012-13 in capturing their league championship en route to an appearance in the USA Hockey Tier III National Championship. Over his three seasons involved with junior hockey, Gordon helped move 11 players to NCAA Division I programs and 24 players to the Division III ranks.

Gordon also runs his own skating and skills company called ProSkill Development. The majority of his camps and clinics are held at Raymond J. Bourque arena during the summer, spring, and winter. Additionally, he runs team skill sessions for many of the surrounding programs on the North Shore in the Fall.
 
He currently resides in Danvers with his wife, Hilary, and their sons, Brooks and J.D.
