No. 15 Men’s Ice Hockey Downs Western New England, 6-1

WEST SPRINGFIELD, Mass. — The No. 15 Endicott men's ice hockey team defeated Western New England, 6-1, in Conference of New England (CNE) action on Saturday night at the Olympia Ice Center.

Primo Self (Grand Rapids, Mich.) scored twice and dished out one assist to lead the Gulls.

Self buried a power play tally in the first (13:57) and found the back of the net again in the second (3:40).

Dominic Garozzo (Sewell, N.J.), Cade Baker (York, Pa.)John Goldowski (Buffalo, N.Y.), and Andrew Kurapov (Corvallis, Ore.) also lit the lamp in the victory (1st — PP, 15:15 | 2nd — 9:07; PP, 16:32 | 3rd — 3:57).

In goal, Atticus Kelly (St. Paul, Minn.) turned away 14 shots to move to 5-1-0 overall (26-5-5 career).

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE

  • Endicott leads the all-time series, 20-1-1.
  • The Gulls are 4-1-0 on the road this season.
  • Baker notched his first collegiate goal.
