2019-20 Men’s Ice Hockey Season Preview

BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott men's ice hockey team will open up its 2019-20 season on Saturday, November 2 when the Gulls travel to Salem State for a 2 PM tilt. Here's a preview of the upcoming season.

FIVE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW

  • The Gulls' 2019-20 roster will feature 16 freshmen after losing 11 student-athletes to graduation last season. Out of those 11 seniors, six rank inside the top-10 all-time in points in program history.
  • Jason Kalinowski (Stamford, Conn.) and Luke Rodgers (Clarkston, Mich.) were selected as captains for this year's squad.
  • Endicott was picked fifth overall in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Preseason Coaches' Poll.
  • The Gulls' coaching staff will feature three new staff members including two alums, Ryan Dougherty '19 M'21 and Lloyd Hayes '19, and Will O'Neill who starred at UMaine and went on to play in the National Hockey League (NHL).
  • Endicott is 38-14-3 (.718) all-time at Raymond J. Bourque Arena in the four-year history of the program.
