GOOGLE CLOUD ACADEMIC ALL-AMERICA® RELEASE | ENDICOTT ACADEMIC ALL-AMERICA HISTORY
BEVERLY, Mass. – For the second time in his illustrious career, Endicott men's ice hockey graduate student Thomas Pisciotta (St. Louis, Mo.) has earned Google Cloud Academic All-America® At-Large Second Team honors, as presented by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) organization.
Pisciotta is just the second student-athlete in Endicott Athletics history to claim multiple Academic All-America honors joining former football student-athlete Craig Anderson '17 (Franklin, Mass.) on the list. Anderson was the first student-athlete to accomplish the feat with honors in 2015 and 2016. Along with that note, Pisciotta also is the only representative from the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) on the men's and/or women's Google Cloud Academic All-America Division At-Large Teams this year.
Meanwhile, in its 25 year history as an athletic program, Endicott has produced 10 Google Cloud Academic All-Americans in Anderson (twice), Gregory Capece '12 (Port Jefferson Station, N.Y.), Michael DeDonato '17 M'18 (Chelmsford, Mass.), Holly Davis '13 (Guilford, Conn.), Mike Lane '12 (Medfield, Mass.), Colleen Pepin '12 (Fairhaven, Mass.), Pisciotta (twice), and Mike Zupkosky '12 (Westford, Mass.).

Pisciotta posted three assists in 19 games played this past season for the Gulls. As a team, Endicott went 16-9-2 overall and 9-8 in conference play en route to a CCC semifinal appearance.
Academically, Pisciotta obtained his undergraduate degree as an entrepreneurship major in just three years at Endicott via a perfect 4.0 cumulative grade point average (GPA) and went on to obtain his MBA from Endicott with another perfect 4.0 GPA. Among the 95 student-athletes selected to the Google Cloud Academic All-America® Division III At-Large teams, 14 men, including Pisciotta, and 19 women carried a 4.0 grade-point average or better.
Additionally, Pisciotta is a three-time Academic All-Conference honoree, a two-time AHCA All-American Scholar, Endicott's Student Government Association (SGA) Vice President, founder of the Process Scholarship, and active in Endicott's Recycle Mania initiative.
GOOGLE CLOUD ACADEMIC ALL-AMERICA® PROGRAM INFORMATION
Nominees for the Google Cloud Academic All-District® Team are nominated by their respective Sports Information Director(s) and voted upon by dues-paying members within the CoSIDA organization. To be eligible, a student-athlete must be a varsity starter or key reserve, maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.30 on a scale of 4.00, and have reached sophomore athletic and academic standing at his current institution.
The Google Cloud Academic All-America® Program is a highly selective scholar-athlete honor. Approximately 2,000 of the 12,000 student-athletes nominated annually receive "First-Team Academic All-District" honors, and approximately 800 currently gain the prestigious Google Cloud Academic All-America® honor.
The Division II and III Google Cloud Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CoSIDA with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2018-19 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs.

The College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA), now in its 62nd year as an organization, was founded in 1957-making it the second oldest management association in intercollegiate athletics. Today, it is a vibrant 3,100-plus member national association comprised of the athletic communications, media relations and sports information professionals throughout all levels of collegiate athletics in the United States and Canada.
