BEVERLY, Mass. — Former Endicott men's ice hockey student-athlete Ross Olsson (Billerica, Mass.) scored his first career professional goal last night for the ECHL's Worcester Railers in a 6-1 victory over the Norfolk Admirals.

Olsson's first career tally came at 17:49 of the third period when he intercepted a pass in the neutral zone, created a give-and-go opportunity in the slot and sniped home a wrist shot into the lower left corner of the net.

Olsson is the second student-athlete in program history to score a goal in his pro debut. He also fell an assist shy of recording a Gordie Howe hat trick.
