No. 15 UNE Blanks No. 9/11 Men’s Ice Hockey, 7-0

BEVERLY, Mass. – The No. 9/11 Endicott men's ice hockey team lost to No. 15 University of New England (UNE), 7-0, in conference action on Saturday evening at Raymond J. Bourque Arena.

UNE received a pair of goals from Austin Morgan (Novi, Mich.) and Brendan Donohue (New Hope, Pa.), respectively, and solo tallies via Ryan Bloom (Northville, Mich.), Chris Jones (Seattle, Wash.), and Derek Mecrones (Medford, Mass.) in the win.

Meanwhile, Nor'easters goaltender Ben Churchfield (Newcastle, England) stopped 19 shots to record his fourth career shutout (11-4-1 this season).

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE

  • UNE is 5-2-2 in the all-time series against Endicott.
  • The Nor'easters are 3-1-1 in the last five games versus the Gulls.
