Josh Bowes Earns D3hockey.com Team Of The Week Honors

D3HOCKEY.COM TEAM OF THE WEEK RELEASE

BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott senior forward Josh Bowes (Edmonton, Alberta, Canada) has been named to the D3hockey.com Team of the Week. It was announced by the organization earlier today.

Last week versus Tufts University (1/8), Bowes became the second student-athlete in program history to reach the 100 career point plateau when he notched two goals and two assists for four points in a 9-2 win against the Jumbos.

Bowes, who needed two points to reach the milestone in the game, dished out an assist 45-seconds into the second period and later found the back of the net at 2:06 of the third to give Endicott a 5-2 lead at the time. He also added another goal and another assist on the next two tallies for the Gulls.

NOTES

  • This is Bowes' first career D3hockey.com Team of the Week honor.
  • Bowes ranks tied for first in goals scored in program history with 51 total.
  • He also is first all-time in short-handed goals.
  • Bowes currently ranks fifth among all NCAA Division III skaters in points per game at 1.73 (14g, 12a, 26p), fourth in goals per game (0.93), and first in short-handed tallies (4).

WHAT'S NEXT

No. 8/10 nationally ranked Endicott (11-3-2, 5-3-0 CCC) hosts Curry College (9-5-2, 4-3-1 CCC) tonight in a conference matchup at 7 PM. Tonight's game at Raymond J. Bourque Arena will also serve as Danvers Hockey Night. Fans who wear their Falcons' gear will be admitted into the game for free.
