Conor O’Brien Named CCC Men’s Ice Hockey Rookie Of The Week

CCC WEEKLY RELEASE

BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott freshman goaltender Conor O'Brien (Pinellas Park, Fla.) has been named the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Men's Ice Hockey Rookie of the Week. It was announced by the league office earlier today.

Last Saturday against No. 13/13 nationally ranked Plymouth State, O'Brien aided Endicott in its 8-2 win over the Panthers by making 34 saves in the contest. With the win, O'Brien improved to 4-2-1 on the season. His 34 saves also fell five shy of tying his single-game career-high of 39 set on October 27 in a 3-3 tie against then No. 12/13 nationally ranked Norwich University.

NOTES

  • This is O'Brien's first career CCC Rookie of the Week award.
  • O'Brien has also won two CCC Goaltender of the Week awards this season (10/29/18, 11/5/18).
