BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott men's ice hockey student-athletes Conor O'Brien (Pinellas Park, Fla.) and Ricky Carballo (Keller, Texas) have earned Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) weekly awards, as announced by the league office earlier today. O'Brien was named the CCC Goaltender of the Week, while Carballo collected CCC Rookie of the Week honors.
In an 11-0 win over Western New England last Friday, O'Brien made 36 stops in a road CCC shutout of Western New England on Friday (Nov. 2). It was his first career collegiate shutout and also his first collegiate win.
Meanwhile, Carballo netted a goal apiece in Endicott's two games against Western New England this weekend. He scored one goal on Friday (Nov. 2) as the Gulls earned the 11-0 victory on the road. He then came home to record a goal and two assists in an 8-1 win. Overall, he had four points on the week and a plus-2 rating.

Endicott (2-0-1, 2-0-0 CCC) plays No. 15 Nichols in a home-and-home series on Friday, November 9 (road, 6:40 PM) and Saturday, November 10 (home, 3 PM).
