Men’s Ice Hockey Climbs To Program Record No. 2 National Ranking On USCHO.com Poll

BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott men's ice hockey program has earned its highest national ranking in program history with the announcement of the USCHO.com poll earlier today. Endicott's No. 2 national ranking via USCHO.com marks the highest ranking for the Gulls on either national poll (No. 3 D3hockey.com or USCHO.com) in the three-year history of the program. It also marks the highest ranking ever for any program in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC). 

So far this season, Endicott is 13-1-0 overall/10-0-0 CCC and has won 13 straight games dating back to November 2, 2017. The Gulls currently rank first among all NCAA Division III programs in scoring offense (6.14 goals/gm – more than 1.00 goals/gm than No. 2 team in country), scoring margin (4.36), combined special teams (81/130, 62.3%), and possess the longest current unbeaten streak (13 games) in the nation. Endicott also holds the second-best winning percentage (13-1-0, .929%) in the country, along with the No. 5 penalty kill (66-71, 93.0%), No. 7 power play (15-59, 25.4%), and the No. 8 scoring defense (1.79 goals/gm).

No. 2/3 Endicott (13-1-0, 10-0-0 CCC) takes on Babson in the W.B. Mason Winter Classic, hosted by Plattsburgh State, on Friday, January 5 at 4 PM.
