Wentworth Holds Off Men’s Ice Hockey, 4-3

BOSTON, Mass. – The Endicott men's ice hockey team fell to Wentworth, 4-3, despite a late third period rally on Wednesday night at the Walter Brown Ice Arena.

Trailing 4-1 entering the third, Josh Bowes (Sturgeon County, Alberta, Canada) cut the deficit to 4-2 just 2:31 into the final period of play on feeds by Trey Olson (Omaha, Neb.) and Nicholas Petrella (Hilton, N.Y.).

Wentworth goaltender Joel Miller (Calgary, Alta.) proceeded to hold Endicott scoreless for nearly 16 minutes (11 saves) before Ross Olsson (Billerica, Mass.) finally found the back of the net at 18:36 with Gulls' freshman goaltender Kevin Aldridge (Beverly Hill, Mich.) pulled for his eighth goal of the season.

Despite the late goal, Miller responded with three saves down the stretch - including two in the final 40-seconds of play - to preserve the win.
