BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott freshman Ross Olsson (Billerica, Mass.) has been named the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Northeast Rookie of the Week, it was announced by the league office earlier today.
Against Assumption and Western New England University (WNEU) last week, Olsson compiled four points as the Gulls posted a 1-1 record. Olsson notched a career-high three points on a goal and two assists against Assumption on Jan. 12, then registered an assist in a 4-3 win over WNEU last Saturday.
Olsson currently leads Endicott in points with 14 on five goals and nine assists. Among student-athletes in the ECAC Northeast, Olsson ranks No. 12 in points, eighth in assists and No. 21 in goals.
