Kevin Aldridge, Cam Bleck Earn ECAC Northeast Weekly Awards

ECAC NORTHEAST WEEKLY RELEASE

BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott freshmen Kevin Aldridge (Beverly Hills, Mich.) and Cam Bleck (Lake Forest, Ill.) have both earned weekly awards from the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Northeast league office for their efforts in games played from December 28 to January 3. Aldridge was named the ECAC Northeast Goaltender of the Week, while Bleck garnered Rookie of the Week accolades.

Aldridge stopped 70 shots over two starts to help the Gulls claim a pair of 3-2 victories against Salem State University and No. 2/4 nationally ranked Babson College in the Holiday Classic Tournament. Aldridge recorded 29 saves versus the Vikings on January 2, and also turned away an additional 41 shots against the Beavers on January 3.

Meanwhile, Bleck scored both the game-tying and game-winning goal in the third period versus Babson on Sunday to give Endicott its first win over a nationally ranked squad in program history. Bleck's performance also helped the Gulls snap the Beavers' three-game winning streak this season and their 11-game winning streak at home against non-conference opponents, which dates back to January 5, 2013.

Endicott (8-3-2) hosts Tufts University in a non-conference tilt on Saturday, January 9 at 4 p.m.
