Michael LaBrie enters his fifth season as an assistant coach with the men's golf program in 2020-21. 

LaBrie has an extensive background in the game of golf, which includes his current position as an Assistant Professional/Instructor/Club Fitter at the Atkinson Resort and Country Club in Atkinson, New Hampshire.

LaBrie's duties at the Atkinson Resort and Country Club include working with players of varying skill levels and abilities on all aspects of their golf swing and mental game, with a deep, philosophical interest in course management, the short game, club fitting, and building. LaBrie also runs player development programs, adult and junior clinics, camps, and demo days, along with his club repair duties and sales/marketing endeavors for the resort.

Aside from his position at the Atkinson Resort and Country Club, LaBrie has worked at Ballymeade Country Club (assistant professional), and Taylor Made/Adidas Golf (club fitter/sales representative) during his career.

LaBrie has also served as the Head of Player Recruitment for the Shriners Hospital for Children Open with the PGA Tour, worked as a writer/ambassador for the Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospital for Children Open/Titleist, and a motivational speaker for the Pebble Beach First Tee Open. A 2011 graduate of Salve Regina University with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature, LaBrie went on to earn his Master of Arts in English Literature and Creative Writing, with a focus in creative non-fiction, from Southern New Hampshire University in 2013.
