Endicott Finishes Tied for Fourth at CCC Fall Qualifier

WILBRAHAM, Mass. - The Endicott golf team finished in a tie for fourth place at the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Fall Qualifier on Thursday afternoon at the Country Club of Wilbraham. 

As the winner of the Fall Qualifier, Nichols earned the right to host the spring championship. The Bison won with a combined team score of 310 to edge out Western New England's 316. Finishing third was Roger Williams as the Hawks posted a score of 327. Tied for fourth were Endicott and the University of New England. Due to tiebreaker procedures, the Nor'Easters earned the right to advance to the championship in the spring.

Leading the way for the Gulls were sophomore Jack Bushee (Bennington, Vt.) and freshmen Clark Brown (Stowe, Vt.) and Nicholas Grimbolas (Strafford, N.H.) as the trio all finished with identical scores of 81. The +9 rounds tied the trio for eighth overall on the par 72, 6,380 yard course. Dylan Seeber (New Hartford, N.Y.) finished tied for 22nd after a round of 85, while Sam Kuhnly (Granby, Conn.) finished 30th overall.

WHAT'S NEXT

The Gulls will compete at the UNE Invitational on September 25 before finishing the fall season at the NEIGA Championship on October 19-21. The Championship will be played at The Captains Golf Club in Brewster, Mass.
