Endicott Finishes Tied for 15th at Duke Nelson Invitational

MIDDLEBURY, Vt. - The Endicott golf team finished tied for 15th in the 36th Duke Nelson Invitational this weekend. The two-day tournament, hosted at the Ralph Myhre Golf Course, saw 23 teams compete on the par 71 course over the weekend.

Sophomore Jack Bushee (Bennington, Vt.) led the Gulls as he finished in a tie for 42nd in the 118 man field. Bushee posted a combined score of 153 after shooting a 77 on day one and a 76 on the final day. Freshman Nicholas Grimbilas (Strafford, N.H.) finished tied for 56th after closing with a round of 75, a five-stroke improvement from his first round.

Graduate student Dylan Seeber (New Hartford, N.Y.) was third for the Gulls, tying for 65th overall, while Samuel Kuhnly (Granby, Conn.) and Ronan Lucey (Bow, N.H.) finished tied for 90th and 102nd, respectively.

 

WHAT'S NEXT

The Gulls will travel to Springfield, Mass. to compete in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Fall Qualifier on Thursday. The top four finishing programs qualify to compete in the CCC Championship to be hosted in the spring.
