Endicott Finishes 9th in Season Opener at Bowdoin Invitational

BRUNSWICK, Maine - The Endicott golf team got the 2019 fall season underway this weekend, finishing ninth in the 15 team field. The two-day tournament was hosted at the Brunswick Golf Club with Bowdoin College serving as the hosts.

Leading the way for Endicott were Nicholas Grimbilas (Strafford, N.H.) and Clark Brown (Stowe, Vt.). The two freshmen finished tied for 18th and 20th, respectively, in their first collegiate action. Grimbilas fired an opening round of +5, 77 in the opening round on Saturday while Brown fired a 78. 

Graduate student Dylan Seeber (New Hartford, N.Y.) closed with a round of 79 to finish tied for 35th in the 75 man field, while Ronan Lucey (Bow, N.H.) and Jack Bushee (Bennington, Vt.) finished tied for 43rd and 54th, respectively. 

WHAT'S NEXT

The Gulls will travel to Middlebury, Vt. next weekend to compete in the Duke Nelson Invitational at the Ralph Myhre Golf Club.
