Men’s Golf Finishes Eighth At Wildcats Spring Invitational

CRANSTON, R.I. — The Endicott golf team finished eighth overall out of 20 teams at the Wildcats Spring Invitational, hosted by Johnson & Wales University (JWU), on Sunday evening at the Cranston Country Club.

Amherst won the Wildcats Spring Invitational with a two-day total of 596, while Providence (600), host JWU (605), Husson (613), and Springfield (619) rounded out the rest of the top-5 in respective order.

Meanwhile, Endicott shot 314 on day one and 313 on day two to come away with a score of 627 and eighth place overall. The Gulls finished ahead of conference rival Western New England (10th, 630), and fellow league foes Roger Williams (11th, 632), and Wentworth (14th, 659).

Individually, Carter Knox (Hinesburg, Vt.) was 23rd overall behind a two-day score of 154 (78, 76). The Gulls also saw Kenneth Tuttle (Gorham, Maine) come in 34th place (156 | 75, 81), Dylan Seeber (New Hartford, N.Y.) rank 40th (158 | 80, 78), and Connor Brown (Granby, Conn.) come in 45th (159 | 81, 78). Christopher Billings (Portland, Maine) concluded Endicott's lineup with a 65th place finish (165 | 82, 83).

WHAT'S NEXT

Endicott will compete in the Lawrence Hospitality Invitational, hosted by UMass Dartmouth at the Allendale Country Club, on Friday, April 19 and Saturday, April 20.
