Men’s Golf Ties For Second Place At RIC Invitational

WARWICK, R.I. – The Endicott men's golf team tied for second place overall out of 14 teams at the Rhode Island College (RIC) Invitational this past weekend, hosted by the Valley Country Club.

Johnson & Wales University (JWU) won the two-day invitational with a score of 627 (310, 317), while Endicott finished four strokes (631, 313/318) behind the Wildcats to tie Tufts University (631, 313/318) for the runner-up spot.

Meanwhile, conference rival Western New England ranked fourth overall (633, 318/315) and UMass finished fifth overall Dartmouth (636, 311/325).

Individually, Kenneth Tuttle (Gorham, Maine) placed fifth overall (tied) behind a two-day score of 155 (78/77). The Gulls also saw Carter Knox (Hinesburg, Vt.) and Christopher Billings (Portland, Maine) tie for 12th place (158, 76/82 | 158, 81/77), while Connor Brown (Granby, Conn.) came in 26th place (tie) with a score of 162 (80/82).

Dylan Seeber (New Hartford, N.Y.) rounded out the Gulls' top-5 with a score of 165 (79/86).

WHAT'S NEXT

Endicott will play in the JWU Invitational on Saturday, April 13 and Sunday, April 14 in Cranston, Rhode Island at the Cranston Country Club.
