Endicott Finishes 16th at Duke Nelson Invitational

FINAL RESULTS

MIDDLEBURY, Vt. - Coming off a third place finish at the Bowdoin Invitational, the Endicott golf team finished 16th at the Duke Nelson Invitational over the weekend. Held at the Ralph Myhre Golf Club, the Gulls finished with a two day total of 621.

Leading the way for Endicott was the trio of Carter Knox (Hinesburg, Vt.)Christopher Billings (Portland, Maine), and  Connor Brown (Granby, Conn.). All three finished tied for 56th in the 111 man field. Each of the three shot a 155 for the tournament. Knox posted the score after rounds of 79 and 76, Billings with rounds of 78 and 77 and Brown with rounds of 77 and 78. 

Kenneth Tuttle (Gorham, Maine) finished two shots back of the trio to land in a tie for 65th after posting rounds of 78 and 79. Dylan Seeber (New Hartford, N.Y.) rounded out the weekend with round sof 84 and 78 to finish tied for 87th. 

This was a two place improvement over last year's finish for the Gulls against an extremely talented field. 

WHAT'S NEXT

The Gulls will travel to Grafton, Mass. on Wednesday to compete in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Championship Fall Qualifier. The event will be hosted at the Highfields Golf & Country Club and the top four finishing squads will qualify for the CCC Championship in the spring of 2019.
