BEVERLY, Mass. - Following strong senior campaigns, the Endicott men's golf team saw Athan Goulos (Peabody, Mass.) and Ben Palazzo (Farmington, Conn.) earn First Team All-Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) honors on Thursday morning, as announced by the league office earlier today. The duo finished their careers by leading the Gulls to a runner-up finish at the CCC Championship last weekend to close with one CCC title and three runner-up finishes.

After competing as the team's No. 1 throughout the season, Goulos posted five top-10 finishes, including three top-five finishes. His senior campaign was highlighted by a runner-up finish at the Johnson & Wales Spring Wildcat Invitational in which he finished just three shots off the winning pace. The North Shore native finished his season with a 75.82 stroke average over 17 rounds of golf, including a low round of 67 at the Bangor Municipal Golf Course in the Husson Invitational. This was Goulos' second straight All-CCC First Team honor.

Palazzo, who was also named to the All-CCC First Team for the second consecutive season, enjoyed a strong senior campaign in which he posted one top-five finish and four top-10 finishes. His low round on the year came in the 83rd Annual NEIGA DIII Championships in which he finished tied for 10th in the 94 man field. Palazzo tied for fifth at the CCC Fall Qualifier which helped lock up hosting rights for the Gulls for the CCC Championship. Palazzo's four top-10 finishes tied him for first on the team for the 2017-18 year.
