Men’s Golf Finishes Seventh At JWU Wildcat Invitational

CRANSTON, R.I. – The Endicott men's golf team placed seventh overall out 17 teams at the Johnson & Wales University (JWU) Wildcat Invitational with a combined score of 638 over the two-day tournament last weekend. 

Western New England claimed first place honors with a score of 612, as the Golden Bears shot 309 on Saturday and 303 on Sunday. Meanwhile, Babson posted a runner-up finish behind a score of 619, and Tufts followed in third (622). 

Individually, Athan Goulos (Peabody, Mass.) led Endicott with a two-day score of 157 (80, 77) for 13th place overall. 

Drew Benshoff (Concord, Mass.) ranked 20th overall with a score of 158 (77, 81), while Ben Palazzo (Farmington, Conn.) shot an 82 on both days for a final score of 164 (44th overall). 

Christopher Billings (Portland, Maine) produced a score of 166 (81, 85) for 49th place, and Carter Knox (Hinesburg, Vt.) concluded the Gulls' lineup in 53rd place (90, 78, 168). 

WHAT'S NEXT 

Endicott will compete in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Championship on Saturday, April 29 and Sunday, April 30 in Longmeadow, Mass. at the Twin Hills Country Club.
