Men’s Golf Positioned Ninth After Day One Of UMass Dartmouth Invitational

NORTH DARTMOUTH, Mass. – The Endicott men's golf team currently sits ninth overall out of 17 teams after day one of competition at the UMass Dartmouth Hampton Inn Invitational. 

Drew Benshoff (Concord, Mass.) posted the best performance on day one for the Gulls as he shot a 77 to rank tied for fifth among 91 scoring student-athletes (92 were entered into this weekend's field).

Corey Zegarzewski (Hope Valley, R.I.) followed in 47th (tied) with a score of 84, while Christopher Billings (Portland, Maine) and Ben Palazzo (Farmington, Conn.) are deadlocked at 57th overall (86).

Carter Knox (Hinesburg, Vt.) rounded out the group with a score of 88 (tied 70th).

WHAT'S NEXT

Endicott will finish up the UMass Dartmouth Invitational tomorrow, and then return to action Friday, April 14 at the Rhode Island College (RIC) Invitational at the Valley Country Club in Warwick, Rhode Island.
