BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott junior Athan Goulos (Peabody, Mass.) has been named the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Men's Golfer of the Week for his performance last weekend at the Blazer Invitational.
In the two-day Blazer Invitational last weekend, Goulos earned medalist honors with a score of 148. Goulos shot 76 on the first day of the tournament before improving by four strokes a day later with a 72 in the final round.
He also led all student-athletes in the tournament with seven birdies, while recording pars on 21 other holes, and helped the Gulls secure the team title with a combined score of 618.
Endicott returns to the links this Thursday, September 22nd to play in the UNE Invitational in Kennebunkport, Maine with the Gulls teeing off at 10am at the Cape Arundel Country Club. The team will then travel to Bangor, Maine on Saturday and Sunday for the Husson Invitational at the Bangor Municipal Golf Club.
