WAKEFIELD, MA - Endicott College began its golf schedule Thursday with a 4 1/2 to 3 victory over Tufts at the Colonial Country Club.
Heavy rains cut the match to nine holes but Alex Lawner and Nick Turzcak led the way for the Gulls.
Lawner, who played in the No. 1 hole, was +1/2 while Turzcak was -8 in the No. 2 position. No. 3 Mike Desrosiers scored -1 while Peter Weatherby was -3.
No. 4 Drew Sullivan was +3, while Mark Andrick (+2), Garret Seney (+8) and Kevin Cusson (+12) rounded out the top eight for EC.
The Gulls will face Salem State Thursday September 21.
