The Endicott men's golf team traveled to the Essex County Club on Monday competing in the Annual Ambassador's Cup versus Gordon College.
The Gulls struggled throughout the cold blustery day trying to tame the ever difficult Essex C.C. layout. Gordon College played very well and was able to edge out Endicott by a match play score of 8 to 4. This was the first time Gordon College has won the Ambassador's Cup in the last five years.
Led by seniors Kenny Dargon and Justin McLear who won all their matches and had Endicott out in front by a score of 4 to 0, the Gulls just couldn't hold onto that lead. Both Kenny and Justin played very well and went out on top for their last golf tournament as an Endicott College Gull.
The team looks forward to next year's golf season and wants to improve upon an already impressive showing this season.
