BEVERLY, Mass. — The Endicott men's basketball team opens up its 2021-22 season on Friday, November 12 at the Emannuel Classic vs Bridgewater State in Boston, Mass. at 8 PM. Here's a preview of the upcoming season.
FIVE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW
- Endicott enters the season knotted with Nichols College as the top-ranked team in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) preseason poll.
- Endicott returns Billy Arseneault (Lynnfield, Mass.) and Jalen Echevarria (Lynn, Mass.) who ranked first and third, respectively, in points per game (14.0 | 13.6) during last year's shortened COVID-19 season.
- The Gulls will compete in 15 games away from The Nest (11 as visitors, 4 neutral sites).
- Endicott went 6-2 overall during the shortened COVID-19 season (split with Suffolk/Gordon, swept Nichols/Curry).
- Head coach Kevin Bettencourt enters year eight with the program. He holds an overall record of 127-52 (.709) and a 77-4 (.762) conference record.
