Eastern Nazarene Tops Men's Basketball, 91-79

QUINCY, Mass. – The Endicott men's basketball team fell to Eastern Nazarene, 91-79, on Tuesday night in non-conference action at the Lahue Physical Education Center.

Jalen Echevarria (Lynn Mass.) led the way for the Gulls with 20 points and four steals. Keith Brown (Pelham, Mass.) followed with 15 points and paced the team with five rebounds.   

Meanwhile, Matt McDevitt (Cumberland, Maine) scored 14 points and Billy Arseneault (Lynnfield, Mass.) notched 13 points and had a team-high eight assists. 

The Gulls got within two points (79-77) of the lead with just under two minutes left play in regulation through a 20-10 run over a span of eight minutes but could not take the lead. 

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE

  • The Gulls now lead the series over Eastern Nazarene 24-11.
  • Garrett Crandell (Bristol, Tenn.) guided the Lions with 25 points, with 14 of them coming in the second half. 

WHAT'S NEXT

Endicott (2-2) travels to Bridgewater State on Saturday, September 23 at 5:30 PM. Eastern Nazarene (1-3) takes on WPI in the Paula Titus Memorial Tournament, hosted by UMass Boston, on Friday, November 22 at 7 PM.
