Men’s Basketball Upends Curry, 99-65

MILTON, Mass. – The Endicott men's basketball team defeated Curry College, 99-65, in conference action on Saturday evening at Katz Gymnasium.

Matt McDevitt (Cumberland, Maine) fueled Endicott with 25 points (9-14 FG, 5-10 3PT, 2-3 FT) and seven rebounds. Both figures were team-highs.

The Gulls also saw Keith Brown (Pelham, N.H.) contribute 17 points, four rebounds, and six assists in the win, while Vinny Clifford (Danvers, Mass.) notched 14 points.

As a team, Endicott had a total of 13 student-athletes find their way into the scoring column and never trailed in the contest. The Gulls led by as many as 40 points (97-57, 2:03 2nd half) before the matchup was wrapped up.

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE

  • Endicott is 25-13 all-time against Curry.
  • The Gulls have won 12 straight games in the series dating back to 1/11/14.
  • Endicott held a 20-7 advantage in points off of turnovers.

Endicott (13-6, 6-4 CCC) travels to Salve Regina on Wednesday, January 30 at 7:30 PM. Curry (1-18, 0-10 CCC) visits the University of New England next Wednesday at 7:30 PM.
