NABC COACHES' DIVISION III ALL-DISTRICT TEAMS

Beverly, Mass. – Endicott men's basketball senior guard Kamahl Walker (Worcester, Mass.) has collected D3Hoops.com 2016-17 Men's Basketball All-Northeast Region Third Team honors, as well as NABC DIII Coaches' All-Northeast Second Team accolades as announced this week.

Walker, a three-time D3hoops.com All-Region selection, was one of two Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) representatives on the list to add to his fourth team honor last season and third team nod in 2014-15.

The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) All-District Second Team Northeast Region recognition is the first-ever for Walker and the program.

In his final campaign for the Gulls this season, the three-time All-CCC First Team member continued to etch his name into the Endicott record book to cement himself as one of the most decorated student-athletes in program history.

In 31 games played (31 starts) in 2016-17, he had 12 games this season with 20+ points, (two  30+) and 26 games in double figures.

Walker became Endicott's all-time leading scorer on Jan. 31, 2017 and finished with 1,889 career points. Walker is also the program's leader in most field goals made (631), field goals attempted (1370), free throws made (430)  and free throws attempted (537). He ranks second all-time in career scoring average (17.2) and is third in most three-pointers made (197).

The Gulls finished the season at 24-7 overall as they advanced to the NCAA DIII Sweet 16 for the first time in program history before falling, 89-60, to No. 6 Middlebury on March 10 in the final game of Endicott's  six seniors' careers.
