Men's Basketball Releases 2014-15 Schedule

2014-15 Endicott Men's Basketball Schedule

BEVERLY, Mass. – With just over a month until their first official practice is held, the Endicott men's basketball team has released their 2014-15 schedule which consists of 25 dates of competition including seven non-conference games, 18 Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) matchups, and the potential for postseason play as the Gulls set their sights on sixth CCC title and appearance in the NCAA Division III Tournament.

Coming off an 18-10 campaign in 2013-14 that ended in a CCC Quarterfinal and ECAC Division III New England Semifinal appearances, Endicott graduated two seniors from last year's squad including 1,000-point scorer Lachlan Magee (Melbourne, Australia) but return a plethora of talent to take on one of their most challenging schedules in recent memory.

The 2014-15 season tips off with a road game at NECC opponent Lesley on Tuesday, November 18th before the Gulls travel over the following weekend to the Colby Classic in Waterville, Maine on September 21st-22nd with Daniel Webster, Plymouth State, and the host Mules.

After the Thanksgiving break, the Endicott student body will treated with a first semester home game against the defending CCC champion and North Shore rivals Gordon on Wednesday, December 3rd in their conference schedule opener. The Gordon game is the first three straight CCC games as Endicott travels to the University of New England (December 6th) and Eastern Nazarene (December 9th) over the following week. Before finals begin, the Gulls match up with their other North Shore rival and 2014 MASCAC finalist Salem State at home on Saturday, December 13th.

In the days leading up to New Years, Endicott will visit Hartford, Connecticut to compete in the Trinity Holiday Invitational with the host Bantams, a NESCAC semifinalist in 2014, as well as Berkeley College. The tournament will take place from December 30th-31st.

2015 kicks off with arguably the challenging program the Endicott men's basketball team has ever played in 2014 NCAA Division III Tournament national runner-up Williams on Saturday, January 3rd. The Gulls will tip-off at 3:00 pm with the Ephs at home in MacDonald Gymnasium.

Williams marks the final regular season non-conference opponent for the 2014-15 season as the heavy portion of the CCC schedule begins on Tuesday, January 6th at Salve Regina. In January and February, Endicott will host eight conference matchups including a January 28th showdown with University of New England, the first home game of 2015 after students return from winter break, and Senior Day on Saturday, February 21st against Western New England. Other important conference games are a home and away doubleheader with Nichols on January 15th (away) and February 11th (home) and a second semester road game at Gordon on January 31st.

All Endicott home games will be accessible through live statistics and webcasts. Please check the schedule throughout the year to see which away games will provide similar live coverage.
