Burkhart, Greene, Magee listed on 2012-13 NABC Honors Court
July 17, 2013KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Basketball Coaches announced their NABC Honors Court winners and 2013 graduate Lance Greene (Dorchester, Mass.), rising graduate student Lachlan Magee (Melbourne, Australia), and rising senior Tyler Burkhart (Cromwell, Conn.) were listed alongside over 700 student-athletes from 285 college and universities across the country. -
Forty-nine Gulls named CCC Winter-Spring Academic All-Conference
June 07, 2013SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) announced today that 299 student-athletes across all winter and spring sports from the 2012-13 academic year have been recognized with Academic All-Confernece honors, including 49 from Endicott's baseball, men's and women's basketball, golf, men's and women's lacrosse, softball, and men's tennis programs.

Greene named CCC Senior Scholar-Athlete of the Year; Henault Second Team
February 19, 2013SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Senior guard and two-year captain Lance Greene (Dorchester, Mass.) was recognized by the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) for both his academic and athletic prowess this past year as the league’s head coaches voted him Senior Scholar-Athlete and an All-CCC Second Team guard along with sophomore teammate John Henault (Lunenburg, Mass.).

Endicott erases second half deficit; falls 60-59 at UNE
February 12, 2013BIDDEFORD, Maine – Sophomore guard John Henault (Lunenburg, Mass.) recorded his fifth game of the season with at least 20 points, scoring a game-high 25 points, and the Endicott men’s basketball erased a 12-point second-half deficit but the Gulls lost 60-59 on the road to the University of New England to fall to 9-14 (4-12 CCC) with two games remaining on the 2012-13 schedule.

All Weekend Games Rescheduled Due to Blizzard

February 06, 2013BEVERLY, Mass. – A game-high 20 points and 13 rebounds by Gordon sophomore forward Hans Miersma (Whitinsville, Mass.) paced a visiting Fighting Scots squad to their fourth straight conference victory as the Endicott men’s basketball team was defeated 72-59 at home at MacDonald Gymnasium.

Endicott registers 70-64 road win over Western New England
February 02, 2013SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The Endicott men’s basketball team rallied behind a 20-point game by sophomore John Henault (Lunenburg, Mass.) and another 13 points from sophomore Matt Kneece (Shrewsbury, Mass.) to win 70-64 over Western New England in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) play.

January 31, 2013DUDLEY, Mass. – Trailing by eight to CCC opponent Nichols in the second half, the Endicott men’s basketball team battled back to have an opportunity to tie the game in the final minute but the Bison held on for an 87-85 victory on their home court Thursday evening.

Wentworth nips Endicott in overtime for second time this season
January 29, 2013BEVERLY, Mass. –Wentworth senior guard Colin Johnson’s (El Dorado Hills, Calif.) three-pointer tied Tuesday’s night match up with Endicott at 69-69 with two seconds left to force overtime and the Leopards went on to beat the Gulls for second this season in extra time 83-76 in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) men’s basketball action.

Knowlton’s late-game contributions put Gulls back in the win column
January 26, 2013BRISTOL, R.I. – The Endicott men’s basketball team ended a seven-game losing streak on Saturday afternoon after defeating CCC opponent Roger Williams 77-74 for the second team this season. The Gulls trailed by one with 45 seconds left in the game, but junior captain Bennett Knowlton (Shrewsbury, Mass.) made two clutch free throws and finished an Endicott fast-break with a layup to help the Blue and Green to their first win since January 5th.

Endicott 79, Salve Regina 90; Gulls suffer seventh straight loss on the road
January 23, 2013NEWPORT, R.I. – Facing an 11-point halftime deficit, the Endicott men’s basketball battled CCC rival Salve Regina in the second half and took the lead with 3:35 remaining in regulation but the Seahawks regained control of the game and beat the Gulls 90-79, handing the Blue and Green their seventh straight defeat on the 2012-13 season.

January 17, 2013BEVERLY, Mass. – Facing a second-half deficit as large as 17 points to CCC foe University of New England, the Endicott men’s basketball team stormed back to tie the game on two separate occasions but their comeback bid fell short as the Nor’easters held off the Gulls 78-76 at MacDonald Gymnasium on Thursday evening.

Senior captain Lance Greene (Dorchester, Mass.) recorded his third career double-double with 14 points and 12 rebounds to lead Endicott.

January 10, 2013BOSTON, Mass. – The Endicott men’s basketball team battled back late in the second half against Wentworth to force overtime, but the Gulls bid to earn a road conference victory fell short 70-66 at Nelson Recreation Center despite a game-tying three at the end of regulation and a game-high 24 points from sophomore guard John Henault (Lunenburg, Mass.).

December 08, 2012WORCESTER, Mass. – Senior guard and captain Lance Greene (Dorchester, Mass.) joined eight other greats from Endicott men’s basketball history as he scored his 1,000th career collegiate point late in the first half in a non-conference game at Clark (Mass.) on Saturday afternoon. Greene scored a season-high 22 points against the Cougars but the Gulls lost 80-74 to drop to 4-2 overall on the season.

Men’s Basketball upends Wheelock 74-50 in non-conference action
December 06, 2012BEVERLY, Mass. – Sophomore center Matt Kneece (Shrewsbury, Mass.) recorded his first collegiate double-double in Endicott’s 74-50 non-conference victory over Wheelock on Thursday evening, scoring 11 points with 11 rebounds to lead the Blue and Green. Eight of Kneece’s 11 boards were on the offensive glass as the Gulls, as a team, outrebounded Wheelock 55-32 in the game.

Endicott victorious 84-78 over Roger Williams to claim first CCC win
December 01, 2012BEVERLY, Mass. – Junior forward Lachlan Magee (Melbourne, Australia) registered his second straight game with 21 points to lead the Endicott men’s basketball team to an 84-78 victory over CCC opponent Roger Williams on Saturday afternoon at MacDonald Gymnasium. The Gulls earned their first conference win of the 2012-13 season and will now wait until January 5th before their next CCC match up.

November 16, 2012NASHUA, N.H. – The 2012-13 Endicott men’s basketball season began with a victory as the Gulls defeated Framingham State 74-62 on day one of the Rivier Tip-Off Tournament, advancing into championship game to be played on Saturday, November 17th at 2:00 pm against the host Rivier Raiders in Nashua, New Hampshire.

Endicott predicted to finish atop CCC men's basketball standings
November 12, 2012SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - The defending CCC champion Endicott men's basketball team has been selected by the head coaches of the league to once again finish on top of the conference standings. Commissioner Gregg M. Kaye announced today's CCC Preseason Men's Basketball Poll which saw the Gulls receive eight of a possible 10 first place votes.
