Bates College improved to 4-1 on the season by defeating Endicott 64-45. Bates relied heavily on their backcourt as Brian Gerrity (25 points), Ramon Garcia (12 points) and Jon Furbush combined for 43 of Bates' 64 points. Endicott had trouble scoring against Bates' physical defense as Endicott was held to 36% shooting from the floor.
Endicott was led by James Leveque with 13 points and 8 rebounds. Endicott fell to 2-2 on the season and face Curry College Saturday at 1pm. This will be the Commonwealth Coast Conference league opener for both teams.
