Field Hockey Ranked First In NCAA Division III New England East Regional Rankings

BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott field hockey team has been ranked first overall in the first batch of NCAA Division III New England East Regional Rankings, as announced by the organization yesterday. 

The Gulls are positioned ahead of Babson, St. Joseph's (Maine), MIT, and conference rival the University of New England (UNE) in this week's rankings. 

Meanwhile, so far this season, Endicott is 13-4 overall, which includes a 9-0 record in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC). Notable wins this fall include then-No. 14 Babson (3-1), MIT (3-1), and UNE (2-1).

Among all NCAA Division III programs, the Gulls rank No. 17 in scoring average (2.18), No. 19 in goals per game (3.47), No. 20 in points per game (9.12), and No. 23 in scoring margin (2.10) and assists per game (2.18).

Endicott (13-4, 9-0 CCC) travels to Roger Williams on Saturday, October 24 for a 12 PM game.
