Field Hockey Doubles Up Salve Regina, 4-2

MIDDLETOWN, R.I. – The Endicott field hockey team earned a 4-2 conference win over Salve Regina University on Saturday afternoon at Gaudet Field.

Jaylin Grabau (Lynnfield, Mass.), Kristen McCarthy (Danvers, Mass.), Julie Champigny (Acton, Mass.), and Sydney Poulin (Watertown, Mass.) all scored in the victory for the Gulls.

Meanwhile, Taylor Farrin (Danvers, Mass.) made a game-high (tied) eight saves to push her record to 12-4 on the season.

Tied 1-1 in the second quarter, McCarthy gave Endicott the lead for good with her 16th goal of the season at 29:12.

From there, the Gulls rattled off back-to-back unanswered goals from Champigny (sixth) and Poulin (10th) at 33:08 and 41:26, respectively, to lock up the win.

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
