Endicott Blanks Mount Holyoke, 6-0

South Hadley, Mass. – Senior forward Kristen McCarthy (Danvers, Mass) netted a hat-trick to lead the Endicott field hockey team to a 6-0 win over Mount Holyoke, Thursday night at MHC Turf Complex. 

Senior forward Julie Champigny (Acton, Mass.), sophomore forward Addi Williams (Pittsfield, Maine), and junior mid Blake Braman (Clinton, Conn.) also secured goals for the Gulls in tonight's victory. 

Meanwhile, sophomore Sydney Poulin (Watertown, Mass.), and junior Jaylin Grabau (Lynnfield, Mass.) both contributed assists. 

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE

  • This is McCarthy's fourth hat-trick for Endicott 
  • Champigny has now scored in two straight games 
  • Poulin now has a point in three straight games
  • The Gulls have now won six straight games
  • Emily Graham (Westford, Mass.) was credited with two defensive saves to aid the Gulls' shutout.

Endicott (10-4) hosts Nichols College on Wednesday, October 16 at 7 PM. Mount Holyoke (5-7) travels to Wellesley College on Saturday, October 12 at 12 PM.
