Endicott Tabbed First In CCC Field Hockey Preseason Poll

CCC FIELD HOCKEY PRESEASON COACHES' POLL RELEASE 

BEVERLY, Mass.- The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) office announced its preseason coaches poll on Thursday and the reigning CCC Champion Endicott field hockey team earned the top spot.

The Gulls were regular season champions during the 2018 season, behind an 18-5 overall record with a 12-0 mark in conference. Endicott captured its third CCC Championship title and made its third NCAA Tournament appearance. In the CCC Championship, the Gulls defeated the University of New England 1-0. In NCAA play, Endicott defeated Saint Joseph's (Me.) in the first round but eventually fell to No. 1 nationally ranked Messiah in the second round. 

The Gulls open their season on the road on August 30th at Babson at 2 pm.
