BABSON PARK, Mass. – The Endicott field hockey team traveled to No. 7 Babson College on Saturday evening and were handed a 3-0 loss.

Babson got on the board first just under 17 minutes into the first half when Tori Roche (Andover, Mass.) redirected a pass from Lauren Drakeley (Woodbury, Conn.) for her fifth goal of the season.

Five minutes later, Catherine Gilman (Cohasset, Mass.) put the Beavers up 2-0 on a drop pass from Roche.

The Gulls continued to pressure offensively, but Babson netminder, Cassidy Riley (Catonsville, Md.) was able to come up with several key stops to keep Endicott off the board.

In the second half of play, Ashley Tango (Reading, Mass.) increased the lead to 3-0 when she blasted a hard shot from the top right of the circle off a corner opportunity.
