Murray Earns CCC Honor

Beverly, MA-- Sophomore field hockey player Caitlin Murray (Templeton, MA) earned CCC Co-Player of the Week by the Commonwealth Coast Conference for the second time this season for her outstanding performances in her sport.

Murray is currently the third highest point earner on the team with 10 goals and six assists totaling, 26 points. With her efforts, Endicott has an overall record of 12-6, 5-2 in the CCC. "Caitlin has helped our team improve on our offensive drive," said Head Coach Laura O'Neil. "She not only excels in offensive play, she is able to defend against the quickest and strongest of our opponents to stop them from scoring. Caitlin is a tremendous asset to our team."

The field hockey team heads into the CCC playoffs as the fourth seed. The Gulls host fifth-seeded Regis College this Saturday at Tupper Field (1:00 p.m.). In their regular season match up, the Gulls defeated the Pride, 7-1.
