Oct. 1, 2004

Beverly, MA-- Sophomore, student-athlete Caitlin Murray (Templeton, MA) was recognized by the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC)last week as Co-Offensive Player of the Week for her outstanding performance in field hockey.

The midfielder came up big in Endicott's 5-1 win over UNE with two goals and two assists. This season to date, Caitlin has recorded five assists and five goals totaling 15 points. "Her greatest strength is her ability to create scoring opportunities for herself or her teammates by bringing the ball into the circle and getting it into play in front of net," Head Coach Laura O'Neil said.

She has assisted the Gulls to a 5-4 overall record so far, 1-1-0 in the CCC. Last year Caitlin received CCC Rookie of the Week Honors twice. "Caitlin made an immediate impact during her first year," Coach O'Neil said. "Caitlin possesses excellent stick skills and a good game sense."

Endicott's next game will be held Saturday at Anna Maria College at 1:00pm.
