Endicott Positioned Seventh In Grinold Chapter New England Division III Football Poll

BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott football team has been ranked seventh overall in the fifth Grinold Chapter New England Division III football weekly rankings, as announced by the organization earlier today.

MIT received eight first place votes to top the poll for the fifth straight week, while Western Connecticut State, who received five first place votes, is ranked second on the poll for the fourth consecutive week.

Meanwhile, Amherst (two first place votes) checked in at third overall ahead of Western New England (4), Trinity (5), and Springfield (6).

Endicott then followed in seventh place, while Framingham State and Tufts tied for eighth and Husson rounded out the poll in tenth.

The New England Division III Football Poll is presented by the Jack Grinold Eastern Massachusetts Chapter of the National Football Foundation, which also serves as the title sponsor of the weekly Gold Helmet Awards presented by the New England Football Writers Association throughout the season.
