Endicott Moves Up To Sixth In Grinold Chapter New England Division III Football Poll

BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott football team has been ranked sixth overall in the fourth Grinold Chapter New England Division III football weekly rankings, as announced by the organization earlier today.

MIT received nine first place votes to top the poll for the fourth straight week, while Western Connecticut (who received five first place votes) ranked second for the third consecutive week.

Meanwhile, Amherst (one first place vote) is positioned third ahead of Western New England and Springfield. Endicott followed in sixth place, which marks a three-spot and 37 point improvement from last week, while Trinity, Williams, Framingham State, and Tufts were positioned in respective order to conclude this week's poll.

The New England Division III Football Poll is presented by the Jack Grinold Eastern Massachusetts Chapter of the National Football Foundation, which also serves as the title sponsor of the weekly Gold Helmet Awards presented by the New England Football Writers Association throughout the season.
