BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott freshman tight end Riley Shanley (Simsbury, Conn.) has been named the Commonwealth Coast Football (CCC Football) Offensive Rookie of the Week. It was announced by the league yesterday.
In a 52-13 win over Nichols last Saturday, Shanley caught five passes for 44 yards, which included a seven-yard touchdown grab with 1:32 left to play in the first quarter that gave the Gulls a 14-6 lead at the time. Shanley also averaged 8.8 yards per reception with a long of 19 yards on the day.
This is Shanley's third career CCC Football Offensive Rookie of the Week honor.
