CCC FOOTBALL WEEKLY RELEASE | ENDICOTT ON SPORTSCENTER AM

BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott student-athletes Joe Kalosky (Plymouth, Conn.), Riley Shanley (Simsbury, Conn.), and Noah Fearnley (Orange, Conn.) have all earned Commonwealth Coast Football (CCC Football) weekly honors. It was announced by the league office following the program's appearance on SportsCenter's segment of Must See Moments, after the Gulls defeated Bridgewater State University (BSU), 29-28, in an improbable comeback on Saturday afternoon.

In that contest, Endicott rallied from a 4th-and-10 hole on its own eight yard line with 45-seconds remaining on a 51-yard one-handed grab by Brendan Johnson (Weare, N.H.) to keep the drive alive and then a 31-yard TD snag in triple coverage from Sheilan Velazquez (West Haven, Conn.) with no time remaining on the clock to even the score at 28-28.

John Glaser (East Moriches, N.Y.) immediately matched the heroics of Johnson and Velazquez with a successful PAT try on the next snap to send the Gulls' bench into a frenzy. The win also caused a stir on social media as Endicott's win was picked up by several national media members and outlets. Below are a few examples.

Later on, he connected with Velazquez for 31 yards with no time left on the clock for the game-winning score. The TD-pass was his fourth of the game, a career-high, to go along with 282 yards passing and 46 yards on the ground.
