Kalosky, Maddux Sweep NEFC Rookie Of The Week Awards

BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott freshmen Joe Kalosky (Plymouth, Conn.) and Grayson Maddux (Park City, Utah) both earned weekly awards from the New England Football Conference (NEFC) earlier today for their performances in the Gulls' 35-14 win over Maine Maritime on Saturday. Kalosky was named the NEFC Offensive Rookie of the Week for the first time in his career, while Maddux claimed his second career NEFC Defensive Rookie of the Week honor.

NEFC WEEKLY AWARD WINNERS

JOE KALOSKY, FRESHMAN, QUARTERBACK, PLYMOUTH, CONN.

In his first collegiate start under center for the Gulls, Kalosky completed nine passes on 12 attempts (.750) for a career-high 248 yards, and three scores to guide Endicott to a 35-14 win over Maine Maritime on Saturday afternoon. Kalosky also rushed twice for 16 yards (one first down), and also registered his first career multi-touchdown game in the win.

GRAYSON MADDUX, FRESHMAN, INSIDE LINEBACKER, PARK CITY, UTAH

Maddux helped Endicott to a 35-14 win over Maine Maritime on Saturday afternoon with seven tackles (four solo, three assisted, 0.5 TFL), and a pass breakup right before the half that eventually aided the Gulls in shifting a 7-7 tie to a 14-7 lead at the break.

NEFC WEEKLY HONOR ROLL RECIPIENTS

JAKE PELLETIER, SENIOR, WIDE RECEIVER, TRUMBULL, CONN.

Pelletier hauled in four receptions for 78 yards and one touchdown in Endicott's 35-14 win over Maine Maritime on Saturday afternoon. Pelletier's 10-yard TD catch gave the Gulls a 21-7 lead at the 11:49 mark of the third quarter.

WILLIAM RIVERA, SOPHOMORE, INSIDE LINEBACKER, ORANGEBURG, N.Y.

Rivera led the Gulls in tackles with 10 total (four solo, six assisted), recovered one fumble, and intercepted a pass right before halftime to maintain Endicott's 14-7 lead at the break over Maine Maritime.
