2015 NEFC Preseason Poll Release

BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott football team has been picked third in the New England Football Conference (NEFC) Preseason Poll, as selected by the league's eight head coaches.

Endicott received 41 points headed into the 2015 season after posting a 5-5 record overall in 2014, which included a 4-3 showing in conference games.

MIT, the defending NEFC champions, were slated first in the poll as the Engineers claimed first place votes from six out of the eight conference head coaches for 61 total points. Western New England was tabbed second with 56 points (two first place votes), while Salve Regina tied Endicott with 41 points.

Curry ranked No. 5 on the poll with 30 points and Coast Guard checked in at No. 6 with 25 points. Maine Maritime was positioned seventh overall (23 points), while Nichols rounded out the list in eighth place (11 points).

Endicott begins its 2015 season on Saturday, September 5 at home against five-time defending Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) champions Framingham State. Opening kickoff at Endicott Stadium is scheduled for 12 p.m.
