NEFC All-Academic Team Release
BEVERLY, Mass. - The New England Football Conference (NEFC) announced their annual All-Academic Team and the Endicott Gulls saw 28 of their student-athletes appear on the list, a record for the 10th-year program.
Of the 28 players, 10 held a grade point average of a 3.30 and two were named to the CoSIDA Capital One Academic All-District First Team (Casey McDonnell, Mike Wheeler).
The NEFC All-Academic Team recognizes gridiron stars who have been at their institution for at least three semesters and have a cumulative 3.0 grade point average on a 4.0 scale.
Endicott finished behind MIT (39) for the most number of honorees on the list. Overall, the NEFC saw 258 student-athletes across the league's 16 teams recognized.
