2012 D3Football.com All-East Region Team
BEVERLY, Mass. - Junior Dylan Rushe (Palos Verdes, Calif.) collected two more pieces of hardware following his standout performance on the gridiron in 2012 as D3Football.com recognized Rushe as Second Team All-East Region as both a kicker and punter.
Rushe earns his fourth award from D3Football.com for his career after being named All-East Region First Team and Second Team All-American in 2011 and All-East Region First Team in 2010. He finished just behind RPI kicker Andrew Franks and Salisbury punter Kyle Hamby for First Team All-Region honors. He was previously named All-New England by the New England Football Writers and a First Team Kicker and Punter in the NEFC All-Division Teams.
Rushe totaled 88 points in 2012 on 11 field goals and 55 extra points, good for second on the team. He averaged over 40 yards per punt while landing 17 of his 39 attempts inside the opposition's 20 yard line.
