Rushe named ECAC DIII New England Special Teams Player of the Week

CENTERVILLE, Mass. - Endicott junior placekicker and punter Dylan Rushe's (Palos Verdes, Calif.) 12 points and standout punting skills were critical in a Gulls 50-45 victory over Western New England last Saturday night.  His clutch performance earned him ECAC DIII New England Special Teams Player of the Week.

Rushe was already named NEFC Special Teams Player of the Week on Saturday evening.

Rushe's 12 points came on two made field goals, a 24-yard make as time expired in the first half and a 31-yarder which provided Endicott's game-winning points, and six points after touchdowns.  He broke a program record for longest punt with a 69-yard blast and in total pinned the Golden Bears inside their own 20-yard line three times in the game.  He averaged 46.2 yards per punt.

Endicott hosts MIT on Saturday, November 3rd for Senior Night starting at 5:00 pm.  The Engineers are 5-3 (4-2 NEFC Boyd) and are coming off a 34-27 victory at Nichols.  The Gulls are 9-0 versus MIT all-time including a 6-0 record at home.
