Eagan and Lane make NEFC Honor Roll
Beverly, Mass. - The Endicott football team rolled over UMass Dartmouth 37-13 this past weekend to improve to 6-2 overall and 4-1 in the New England Football Conference Boyd Division.  The NEFC honored two of Endicott's players by putting them Offensive and Defensive Honor Roll for their week eight performances.

Junior running back \#Mike Lane\# (Medfield, Mass.) ran for 108 yards on 21 carries to lead the Gulls offense on the ground.  Lane found pay dirt twice with touchdown runs of 10 yards and six yards.  Following his first touchdown run, Lane even made an impact on special teams by recovering a fumble on the ensuing kickoff.  The junior also caught one pass out of the backfield for 14 yards.  Lane's 108 yards were part of 249 overall rushing yards by the Blue and Green against UMass Dartmouth.  Lane now has 675 rushing yards on the season with three touchdowns.

Defensive lineman \#Kevin Eagan\# (West Hartford, Conn.) continued to make big players for the Gulls defense in 2010.  Eagan led Endicott with 10 total tackles, two solo and eight assisted.  He had one tackle for a loss of three yards and forced a fumble.  On the Endicott drive following the turnover, the Gulls would score on a one-yard touchdown run to take commanding 28-7 lead in the second quarter.

Week eight marked the second week in-a-row that both Lane and Eagan made the NEFC Honorn Roll.

The Gulls return to Endicott Stadium on Saturday, October 30 for an early evening showdown with NEFC Boyd Division rival Western New England College (7-1, 5-0 Boyd) starting at 5:00 pm.
